Still the most popular non-invasive cosmetic procedure, botulinum toxin is a purified protein which is injected in minute quantities into the muscles of the face in order to relax and soften wrinkles and lines. Most popular areas treated with btoxin are the horizontal forehead lines, frown lines between the eyes, lines around the eyes and some wrinkles around the mouth.

Btoxin injection is a non-surgical, treatment that is administered by a fully qualified and experienced doctor. The treatment involves injecting the correct doses of btoxin into the muscles that cause those stubborn lines. It works to block the nerve impulses, temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause wrinkles, thereby causing them to relax. It is the most effective treatment for subtly tackling deep wrinkles and lines. A treatment session normally takes about 15 minutes and no recovery time is needed.
